Reflections from ITC Agents Conference in Las Vegas: Energized and Encouraged

Last week, Monoline had the privilege of attending the ITC Agents Conference in Las Vegas, and it was an experience to remember. With our team members Jerod Blakestad, Greg Blasko, and Ben Phillips representing us, we immersed ourselves in three days of insights, connections, and inspiration. The conference brought together insurtech professionals from across the country for one epic expo filled with keynote speakers, product demos, and dynamic meet-up events. It was exciting to see insurtech companies of all sizes—from well-established firms to brand-new innovators—showcasing their solutions and discussing the future of our industry.

The B2B focus was particularly prominent, providing us an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues and partners at Agency Revolution, Steadily, Goosehead, Rate.com, Reserv, and Modern Metric, to name a few. Engaging with like-minded professionals who are passionate about reshaping the insurance landscape was invigorating, and it reinforced the importance of collaboration in driving our industry forward.

One of our biggest takeaways from the conference was the emphasis on the role of intermediaries in the insurance space. For companies like Monoline, it's crucial to focus on being value-creating. As an insurance wholesaler, we understand our role as an intermediary, and our mission has always been to add genuine value to the quoting, binding, and policy management processes for personal umbrella policies. We strive to empower account executives by simplifying their workflow, allowing them to focus on what matters most—serving their customers’ best interests. Every solution we design is with this goal in mind, and we’re committed to ensuring it’s as easy and efficient as possible for agents to use.

Another insightful message from the conference was the importance of not just saving time, but making the experience enjoyable. This really resonated with us because, from the very beginning, we’ve focused on creating a platform that is visually pleasing, intuitive, and easy to navigate. We know that if a solution is cumbersome, it can detract from its value, even if it saves time. Our aim is to be the platform that account executives and admins want to use, and the daily feedback we receive from our customers reassures us that we’re on the right track.

Leaving the ITC Agents Conference, we feel energized and encouraged by the strength and innovation within the insurtech space. It’s clear that the future of our industry is bright, with solutions designed to not just keep up with the times, but to push the envelope and redefine what's possible. At Monoline, we’re proud to be part of this exciting evolution, and our time in Las Vegas has only reaffirmed our commitment to innovation and excellence.
