In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

By Rachel Crump, Agency Transfer Manager, Monoline

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer earlier this year. It has been the most challenging chapter of my life, but what has kept me going is the overwhelming support from my colleagues, clients, and friends in the independent insurance world.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has stood by me over these past few months. From the beautiful flowers that brightened my chemo days, to friends who pedaled for the cause in my honor, to volleyball games, delicious home-cooked meals, cozy blankets, and countless heartfelt cards — your kindness has been my strength. Each gesture, big or small, has meant everything to me.

As a proud 4th generation member of the independent insurance industry, I’ve always believed that this community is like no other. Those who know me understand that my world is full of insurance professionals, and this year, I’ve truly felt the love and support of that circle. I’m grateful every day for the career path I chose and for the incredible people it has brought into my life.

Ringing the bell after my last chemo!

A special thank you goes to my amazing team at Monoline. Their unwavering support has allowed me to prioritize my health while still being a part of building something special. Never once have I felt the need to choose between my health and my work, and for that, I am forever grateful. They’ve shown me what it means to put people first, and that spirit shines through in everything we do.

I also want to express my gratitude to the clients who have embraced Monoline's vision. Your trust and belief in our mission have been a source of strength, and it reminds me why we do what we do every day.

This month, I honor all those who have been affected by breast cancer, and I celebrate the incredible community that continues to uplift and inspire me. Together, we are stronger, and together, we will continue to support one another.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
